The Fuji Clean Story
Japan's No.1 selling Domestic Wastewater Treatment Systems are now available here in Australia
Japanese Origins
In the early 1960's Japanese researchers developed a modern sewerage system capable of treating the full range of domestic wastewater from the household.
Today Fuji Clean manufacture and install over 40,000 units annually making it one of the most popular domestic wastewater systems in the world.
Advanced treatment process
The lack of available land in Japan means that treated effluent in many cases is disposed of directly to waterways. This creates the potential for serious public health issues. It was realised that in order to avoid this there was a requirement for domestic treatment systems that can sustainably produce high quality effluent. This focus has driven the development of treatment technology way ahead of what we experience in Australia.
With a fifty year history and a team of 30 dedicated research and development scientists, the Fuji Clean system has undergone continuous improvement to produce the compact and efficient system now available in Australia.
The continuous development of Fuji Clean systems has led to the current design with no internal moving parts - making it very reliable. The system uses both naturally occurring digestive processes with highly developed bacterial media and an efficient sludge return maximising treatment performance and efficiency. Every component has been extensively developed, and with over 1.6 million systems already installed, Fuji Clean has a long record of proven performance. This guarantees home owners a safe and hassle free operation, which is what you need when the system is installed for upwards of 15 – 20 years.
Fuji Clean Domestic Wastewater Treatment Systems are now available in Australia
Headquartered in Nagoya, Japan - Fuji Clean have three manufacturing plants in Japan, with Australian offices in Cairns and a manufacturing and assembly plant in Coomera , South East Queensland.
The introduction of the Fuji Clean CE-1500EX model provides the Australian market with access to leading-edge technology previously not available in this country. Although the technology employed in these systems has been established and available in Japan for many years, until the recent introduction, Australians had been employing less advanced means to treat their domestic wastewater.
The impact on the environment from using less than optimal solutions for wastewater treatment is arguably the biggest reason why this recent introduction is so vital.
